Terms of Use

Effective September 21, 2026 · Last updated September 21, 2026

These terms constitute the agreement between you and RoModeler Inc., the company that operates RoModeler. By creating an account, purchasing credits, or generating models, you accept these terms. They have been written in plain language: "we", "us" and "RoModeler" below refer to RoModeler Inc..

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you may use RoModeler only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who must make any purchases on your behalf.
  • A valid email address is required, and it must be confirmed before you can generate models.
  • Please safeguard your credentials. You are responsible for activity conducted under your account; notify us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.
  • Each person may maintain a single account. Creating additional accounts to obtain supplementary free credits is not permitted.

Acceptable use

You may not use RoModeler to:

  • Create sexual content involving minors, content that promotes violence or hatred against people, or any unlawful material.
  • Infringe another party's copyright, trademark, likeness or other rights.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent the generation limits, credit system, style restrictions or sandboxing of the build service.
  • Resell access to the service itself, or operate automated bulk generation on behalf of third parties, without our prior written agreement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions or that expose RoModeler to legal risk.

Credits and how they are spent

  • New accounts are granted 1 complimentary credit.
  • A standard new model starts at 1.5 credits. A revision of one of your existing models starts at 1.2 credits plus the style amount and grows with the size of the change — a long or detailed revision can cost more than a new model. Heavier styles cost more (for example Low poly and Blocky 1.5, Mid poly 1.9, High poly 3.1, Realistic 2.8, Hyperrealistic 3.6), and longer descriptions or reference images add a small amount.
  • The exact cost is displayed in the workspace before you initiate a generation, and the same calculation is applied on our servers when credits are deducted.
  • Credits are deducted when a generation begins, applied in the following order: complimentary credits first, then subscription credits for the current period, then purchased pack credits.
  • Credits hold no cash value, are non-transferable between accounts, and may not be exchanged for monetary compensation.

Expiry and rollover

  • Credits from one-time packs remain valid for as long as your account is open.
  • Subscription credits are granted each time a billing period is paid. Unused subscription credits roll over into the following period, but the subscription balance is capped at three times a single period's grant.
  • Complimentary starter credits do not expire while your account is open.

Subscriptions and billing

  • All prices are stated in US dollars and are shown before you pay, together with the credits included and the billing frequency.
  • Subscriptions are offered on a monthly basis and renew automatically at the end of each period using your stored payment method, until cancelled.
  • Applicable taxes are calculated and added at checkout.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number.
  • You may cancel at any time from the billing portal, accessible through Manage subscription in the workspace. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the period already paid for.
  • Following cancellation, you retain access and your plan's styles until the end of the period you paid for. Once that period ends, premium styles lock, but credits already granted to your account remain available and may still be spent.
  • We may revise prices or plan contents. Any such changes take effect at your next renewal, and we will provide advance notice before they apply.

Failed generations and refunds

  • If a generation fails, times out or is cancelled by the system, the credits for it are returned to your balance automatically; no request is necessary.
  • Once a generation completes successfully, all sales are final: the credits spent on it are non-refundable, and we do not issue refunds, credit returns or exchanges for a completed model — including results that require cleanup or do not match your description as closely as you had hoped. You may instead revise the model, which costs less than a new build.
  • Payments for credit packs and subscription periods are final and non-refundable, except where consumer protection law requires a refund, or where we have charged you in error.
  • In the event that a refund is issued — at our discretion, due to a billing error on our part, or through your financial institution — the credits associated with that payment are revoked as well, including any you have already spent. Should this leave your balance in deficit, new generation is paused until the shortfall is resolved through a new purchase.
  • If you believe a charge was made in error, please email support@romodeler.com and we will investigate.

Suspension, deletion and service closure

  • If your account is suspended or closed for breach of these terms, unused credits are forfeited and no refund is due.
  • If you schedule account deletion, active subscriptions are cancelled and new generation is paused. You may withdraw the request during the 30-day recovery period. After that, your models, generation history and stored files are permanently deleted, and any unused credits are lost. We recommend downloading any content you wish to retain beforehand.
  • Should RoModeler ever cease operations, we will provide reasonable notice so that you can download your models. We are not obligated to refund unused credits beyond what applicable law requires.

What you upload

  • You must hold the rights to any reference image you upload. Do not upload third-party artwork, photographs of individuals who have not consented, or material you are not authorized to share.
  • You retain ownership of everything you upload. You grant us solely the permissions required to operate the service: to process your uploads, transmit them to our AI and build providers, and store them temporarily for the purpose of producing your model. Your uploads are not used for marketing, nor are they used to train our own AI models.

Models you generate

  • As between you and us, the models you generate belong to you. You may download, modify and use them commercially — including within games — and incorporate them into products you sell.
  • You may not resell the raw generated files as a stock-asset library in competition with RoModeler, nor present the generation service itself as your own offering.
  • Your use of the output is also subject to the terms of the AI provider involved in producing it. Those terms may change, and we cannot guarantee on a provider's behalf what rights attach to AI output in your country.
  • The copyright status of AI-generated output remains unsettled in many countries, including Canada. We make no representation that you can register or enforce copyright in a generated model.

Copyright and takedown reports

We respect the intellectual property rights of others, and we expect users of RoModeler to do the same. If you believe that content on the service — a generated model, an uploaded image, or an account's activity — infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may report it by emailing support@romodeler.com with the following: your name and contact information, a description of the work you believe has been infringed, a description of the content in question (including the account or model concerned, if known), a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized, and a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rightsholder or authorized to act on their behalf.

  • We review every report we receive and may remove or disable access to content that we conclude, in our reasonable judgment, infringes third-party rights.
  • We may notify the account concerned, and that account may respond if it believes the report was mistaken or unauthorized.
  • Accounts that repeatedly infringe, or that are the subject of credible repeated reports, may be suspended or terminated, and credits on such accounts forfeited, as described in these terms.
  • If you knowingly submit a false or misleading report, you may be responsible for damages, including costs and legal fees, to the extent permitted by law.

Limits of AI generation

Models are produced automatically and are provided as-is. They may contain geometry defects, incorrect proportions, misinterpreted details or unusable topology, and they frequently require cleanup before production use. Two users submitting similar descriptions may receive similar results, and a model may inadvertently resemble an existing design. We do not warrant that any output is unique, accurate, fit for a particular purpose, or free of third-party rights. We recommend thoroughly reviewing any model before you publish or sell it.

Availability and changes

We are committed to keeping RoModeler available; however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Generation may be paused for maintenance, capacity or safety reasons. We may add, change or remove features and styles. If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the effective date and request your acceptance of the revised version.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoModeler is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights granted to you under mandatory consumer protection law, which apply notwithstanding these terms.

Indemnification

You agree to compensate RoModeler, its directors, officers and personnel for claims, damages, losses and reasonable costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you upload, models you use or distribute, your breach of these terms, or your violation of another person's rights or applicable law — except to the extent the claim arises from our own breach of these terms or our own negligence. This protection does not limit any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction — without diminishing any right you have to bring a claim, or rely on protections, in the country where you reside.

General provisions

  • If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force, and the unenforceable provision is modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
  • These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement between you and RoModeler regarding the service, and they replace any earlier or contemporaneous understandings, whether written or spoken.
  • You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else without our written agreement. We may assign this agreement, or the operation of the service, to a successor in connection with a reorganization, acquisition or sale of assets, on notice to you.
  • Neither party is liable for delays or failures to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, labour disputes, failures of the internet or utilities, or the unavailability of third-party providers. This provision does not excuse your obligation to pay for services already provided.
