Privacy Policy
Effective September 21, 2026 · Last updated September 21, 2026
RoModeler is an AI 3D model generation service. This policy explains what information the service collects, the purposes for which it is used, the parties with whom it is shared, and how you can request changes to it or its removal.
Who we are and how to reach us
RoModeler is an online service operated by RoModeler Inc.. For privacy questions or requests, please email support@romodeler.com. We endeavour to respond within 30 days.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and a securely hashed password, or the email address and basic profile details from your Google account if you sign in with Google. We also store a display name, which defaults to the part of your email before the @ sign.
- Prompts and model settings. The description you type, the style you pick, and options such as studded surfaces. Prompts are stored with each generation job and with each saved model.
- Reference images. Images you attach are sent with your request to our AI provider and to our build service so the model can be created. They are not saved to your model library; we keep only a count of how many images a request included.
- Generated models and build records. The finished .glb file, a preview image, the Blender Python script that produced it, and a generation log containing the instructions and responses exchanged with the AI model during the build.
- Credit and payment records. Your credit balances, subscription plan and status, renewal date, and a record of each payment event we receive from Stripe (amount, product, plan, identifiers). Card numbers are entered on Stripe's checkout and are never sent to or stored by us.
- Usage and technical logs. Job status, timings, memory and triangle counts, failure messages, and AI token usage and cost for each generation. Our hosting, database and payment providers also keep their own network-level logs, which normally include IP addresses and browser information. RoModeler itself does not write full IP addresses or browser details into its database; to limit free-credit abuse we store only a one-way hash of the IP address used at signup, which cannot be converted back into the original address.
How we use your information
- To create your account, sign you in and verify your email address.
- To generate the models you request, display them to you, and enable revisions.
- To account for credits accurately, charge for generations, and refund credits when a build fails.
- To process payments, administer subscriptions and credit packs, and maintain billing records.
- To keep the service operating and secure: diagnosing failures, preventing abuse and automated signups, and measuring generation costs.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Service providers and information sharing
- Lovable Cloud (Supabase infrastructure) — account authentication, database and file storage. Holds everything listed above except payment card data.
- Our AI model provider, accessed through the Lovable AI Gateway — receives your prompt, chosen style, reference images and rendered previews of the work-in-progress model so it can write and correct the build script.
- Fly.io — hosts the sandboxed Blender build service that executes the generated script and produces your .glb file. It receives the build script, your prompt text and any reference images for the duration of the build.
- Stripe — payment processing. Receives your email address, an internal account identifier, and the product you are purchasing; it collects and stores your card details directly. Stripe also handles tax calculation and related compliance on eligible purchases.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the signup form only. Cloudflare receives technical signals from your browser to assess whether the signup appears automated.
- Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google”, in which case Google provides the email address and basic profile information associated with that account.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not employ advertising networks or analytics trackers.
Processing outside Canada
Our providers operate globally, and your information — including prompts, images and generated models — is processed and stored on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country may be accessible to that country's courts and authorities under its laws.
AI training
We do not use your prompts, reference images or generated models to train our own AI models. Your content is sent to our AI provider solely for the purpose of producing the model you requested. We rely on that provider's business terms regarding the use of submitted content for training, and we cannot make a guarantee on their behalf. If you require written assurance about provider training practices for your own compliance purposes, please email us and we will share the current provider terms we operate under.
Access to your models
Your models, previews, scripts and prompts are private to your account. Storage is configured so that only your signed-in account can read your files, and the service loads them using short-lived links that expire after approximately six hours. There is no public gallery and no feature that publishes your models or creates a permanent shareable link. Our operators may access stored content when necessary to operate, debug or support the service, or when required by law.
Copyright and takedown reports
If you believe content on the service infringes your intellectual property rights, you may report it to support@romodeler.com. Reports are handled under the process described in our Terms of Use. Where a report leads us to review content, we process the information in the report — including your contact details and the content description — solely to evaluate and act on it.
Data retention
- Account data, prompts, generation records, models, previews and build scripts are retained for as long as your account exists. They are not deleted on a fixed schedule.
- Deleting a model from your library removes its database record and its stored files (model, preview and script).
- If your account is deleted, your profile, generation records, models and stored files are deleted with it.
- Payment and credit records are retained after account deletion where required for accounting, tax and fraud-prevention purposes. Stripe maintains its own transaction records under its retention rules.
- Backups and provider logs may retain copies for a period after deletion before they cycle out; we do not control our providers' backup schedules.
Your rights and choices
Under Canadian privacy law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, request its correction, and challenge how we handle it. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights, such as deletion or data portability.
- You may delete individual models from your library at any time within the workspace.
- You may schedule account deletion from Account settings. We cancel active subscriptions, pause new generation, and schedule account data and stored model files for deletion after a 30-day recovery period. Signing back in before the scheduled date cancels the deletion. For access or correction requests, please email support@romodeler.com from the address on your account.
- You may stop providing prompts and images at any time by discontinuing use of the generator, and you may cancel a subscription without deleting your account.
Children
RoModeler is not intended for children under 13, and accounts may not be created by them. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use RoModeler only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who must make any purchases. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will delete it. Parents or guardians may contact us at the address above regarding a minor's account.
Security
We employ access controls that restrict each account's data to that account, encrypted connections, expiring links for file downloads, email verification before generation, and bot protection on signup. No online service can guarantee perfect security, and we make no claim to be unbreachable.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be communicated through the application or by email.
